Solar Powered Rovers And My Discovery Telescope

So we all want our kids to be more engaged and active outside and have less screen time whether it’s from the tv and or electronic devices, 

well, the brand Thames and Kosmos  have Kits that can keep your kids busy especially during the summer months or anytime you want them to other things besides screen time.

One of the kits is called Solar Powered Rovers I a 5-1 kit where it comes with all the pieces to build five different projects.

You can build five different cars and one solar power fan.

  As you can see this is what is included in the kit you everything you need to build each project. 

 As you can see I started building the solar fan it comes with all the pieces and the solar component makes it run all you need to do is go outside and have the sun hit the solar panel for a little while till it gets enough energy to make the fan run. It keeps the kids entertained and lets them learn

See objects up close you can use it in the backyard to look at birds and up in the sky.

It’s portable so it’s easy to take on the go.

Kensington One Trackball Mouse

I spend some time using my laptop which is touch screen and has a track pad. But I do like to use a mouse once in awhile, but sometimes your wrist gets tired and starts bothering you, well Kensington has got you covered with there One Trackball  Mouse.

 so what's unique is it comes with a removal wrist rest, so when your using the mouse you can rest your wrist and do your work comfortably.

The trackball as it's called the orb is nice and smooth and comfortable to work with. And it's also easy to setup. 

You take it out of the package and plug it into your computer it works with Windows and Mac. 

There's software you can download to customize your mouse to your liking. 

It is very easy to use, it has the trackball and scrolling wheel besides your left and right click buttons.

The scroll wheel let's you fly through web pages quickly and it can be used with left or right hand so no matter which is your dominant hand it works for both. 

I like the design it's the right size so it doesn't feel uncomfortable to use. And a mouse that is easy to use and set up is great so there's not much to download unless you want to customize your mouse. 

It comes in two colors a white one and black and grey. 

You can bring it anywhere you want because it's easy to use.

Klutz Maker Lab Kits

So we all want kids to have fun and play be kids and not on gadgets all the time. Well a company called Klutz gives you kits to give kids imagination and not be on gadgets all the time.

I got to put together a Boom box no tools required, there are different kits available.

So with the Boom box it comes with everything you need to put it together from the radio receiver and speaker.
And cutouts to make the Boom box.

It includes everything you need the instruction booklet tells you how to put it together which is easy. It takes 3 AAA batteries so you can take it anywhere you want to listen to music. The cardboard isn't flimsy it's easy to bend and put together 

What's cool the booklet also gives you Information about how the radio was invented and how electric is transmitted, which is cool to learn about interesting facts. And also having fun doing it. 

Fun fact on the boombox people in the 1970s and 1980s I was born in the 80s they used a Boom box to play music. Boom box had the radio built in but also you could play cassette tapes. I do remember cassette tapes.

The word Boombox came about because the speakers played music loudly.  It seem like they were booming.

So Halloween is coming and what fun way to get In the spirit by wearing some festive socks.

I'm wearing some fun Halloween socks. There's a company that makes fun socks there called Scary Sox, so from the parent company Smile Sox they have socks for kids to tween And woman.

Percy Jackson Lighting Thief Musical

I was invited to attend a Broadway show,

As someone who never been to a Broadway show before was pleasantly pleased that it was great.

I went to see Percy Jackson The Lighting Thief it was really good.  It even gave me a few laughs. No matter where you sit you can see everything.

 Me and my guest enjoyed the show it was interesting i wasn't expecting some comedy there was some funny moments  it makes a nice show to bring your family to go see before it stops playing it has limited engagement and will be ending soon. it is based on the book, 

So Percy who suffers from dyslexia and ADHD, He is sent to summer camp called half bloods. 

He meets others there.

Percy and hid friend try to prevent a war from the Greek gods and find Zeus missing lighting bolt. 

There's some funny moments which is nice not everything has to be all serious. It is a great show for the whole family to watch. There was something for everyone in the show. 
Percy Jackson is looking for his Father who's a Greek god named Poseidon, he has a mortal mother named Sally. 

 I enjoyed it and also it was my first ever Broadway show, so it was a nice treat.
Everyone should go see it before it's run is over.
